Booking Conditions
TRAVELWILD AUSTRALIA Pty Ltd is the owner and operator of the brands;

- Clare Valley Wine Tours
Except where stated below for code shared products, these terms and conditions apply to all tours operating under these brands.
TRAVELWILD AUSTRALIA reserves the right to amend, vary or cancel a tour where in its best judgment road, climatic, political or other circumstances deem it to be necessary.
TRAVELWILD AUSTRALIA cannot guarantee the exact arrival and departure times and is not liable for any failure by you to make connection with any other service or carrier.
TRAVELWILD AUSTRALIA recommends that you take out comprehensive travel insurance.
You understand and accept that the tour may require physical exertion.
You understand and accept that the tour may operate in remote areas.
You agree to observe the safety and other instructions that the tour guide for the duration of the tour.
Our tours may require pro-active participation in a remote and rugged region with a degree of personal risk. Travel Insurance is recommended to cover any unforeseen circumstances such as loss or damage of personal equipment, evacuation and medical costs.
TRAVELWILD AUSTRALIA accepts no liability for such events as:
- Tour cancellations.
- Evacuation costs.
- Personal injury.
- Loss or damage to personal items.
Risky & Dangerous Activities
Whilst on tour, you will be exposed to dangers, these could include;
Hiking: You may have the opportunity to hike both on and off trails where dangers could include tripping on uneven surfaces, falling off ledges, exposure to extreme weather and encounters with dangerous animals such as snakes.
Swimming: You may have the opportunity to swim in waterways which could include the ocean, rivers, creeks, lakes, dams and natural waterholes where dangers could include strong currents, hidden sub surface objects and dangerous animals including sharks, crocodiles & snakes.
Jumping into water: You may have the opportunity to jump of ledges into water where dangers could include hitting the water or submerged objects resulting in serious injury or death.
Camping: You may have the opportunity to camp in remote and wild places where dangers could include exposure to the elements, burns by being exposed to a campfire and cooking tools etc.
Vehicle Loading & Unloading: You may have the opportunity to help with loading and unloading a vehicle or trailer in preparation for camping, dangers could include injury from lifting heavy objects, being injured from and object which has moved during transport and falls on you & falling from the roof of a vehicle.
Vehicle Repairs: You may have the opportunity to assist in the repair of a vehicle or trailer, dangers could include burns from hot mechanical parts, and injury or death from a jacked up vehicle falling from a support.
You understand that accept that many on tour activities carry some risk to your personal safety, and you will only participate in any activity at your own risk, you will use your own judgement and accept the consequences.
Activities from Third Parties: You may have the opportunity to participate in activities which are operated by third parties, examples of these could include Helicopter Flights, Boat Cruises, Wine Tasting & Restaurant Lunches / Dinners. You agree that whilst participating in these activities, you in the care of these operators and any issue arising from the participation is between yourself and that operator.
Consumption of Alcohol: You may have the opportunity to consume alcohol on tour, either during third party activities or provided directly by the operator, you agree to the responsible consumption of alcohol such that you are able to maintain self control, alcohol induced anti social behaviour will not be tolerated and we reserve the right to remove participants from the tour without refund.
Payments
Prices quoted are in Australian dollars and are valid to December 31 of the year in which the tour is undertaken. Bookings may be made direct to our office or website, or through any travel agent. For extended tours, a 10% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure a spot, with the balance payable 30 days prior to departure, for day tours full payment is required at the time of booking.
Cancellations and Refunds
TRAVELWILD AUSTRALIA Operated Tours
Extended Tours;
An extended tour is a tour greater than 1 day in length.
Cancelation – Non Force Majeure Event*
- If you cancel up to 30 days prior to the tour for any reason loss of 10% deposit
- If you cancel 15 – 29 days prior to departure 50% of the total tour cost
- If you cancel 0 – 14 days prior to departure 100% of the total tour cost
- If we cancel at any time, you get a full refund.
Cancelation – Force Majeure Event*
- If either party cancels at any time you receive a travel credit to the values of monies paid.
Day Tours;
Cancelation – Non Force Majeure Event*
- If you cancel up to 1 week prior to the tour for any reason you will receive a full refund.
- If you cancel within 1 week for any reason there is no refund.
- If we cancel at any time, you get a full refund.
Cancelation – Force Majeure Event*
- If either party cancels at any time you receive a travel credit to the values of monies paid.
ADVENTURE TOURS AUSTRALIA Operated Tours
From 2021 some of our tours are code shared with Adventure Tours Australia, these products include;
- 10 Day Kimberley Tours
- 7 & 10 Day West Coast Tours
- 22 Day Kimberley + West Coast Tours
For these products to following Cancelation Terms apply;
Cancelation – Non Force Majeure Event*
- If you cancel the tour more than 29 days from departure, your deposit is converted to an indefinite credit which can be used on any Adventure Tours Australia product.
- If you cancel the tour within 29 days of departure and you have paid for the tour in full, you will receive a 50% refund and 50% will be converted to an indefinite credit which can be used on any Adventure Tours Australia product.
- If the tour is cancelled by ADVENTURE TOURS AUSTRALIA for any reason which is not a Force Majeure* event, then you get a full refund of any monies you have paid.
Cancelation – Force Majeure Event*
- If the tour is cancelled by ADVENTURE TOURS AUSTRALIA as a result of a Force Majeure* event, any monies you have paid is converted to an indefinite 110% credit which can be used on any Adventure Tours Australia product.
*Force majeure is a common clause in contracts that essentially frees both parties from liability or obligation when an extraordinary event or circumstance beyond the control of the parties, such as a war, strike, riot, crime, epidemic or an event described by the legal term act of God, prevents one or both parties from fulfilling their obligations under the contract: See: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Force_majeure
